Abstract |
The main aim of this research is to investigate savings and deposits outside the banking system in Gaza Strip; why do not people invest their savings with banking system? do these people enjoy durable goods? What services do they get from banks. A questionnaire was designed to collect the required date. The sample counted for 252 investors outside the banking system. Findings of the research suggest that television sets and houses are the most popular durable assets that those investors enjoy. They save and invest to increase their income. All of them do not deposit their savings at banks neither they get loans. They have only current accounts in banks. |
